The Pinetti Motorsport driver is heading to Portugal to take part in the fifth round of the prestigious series of races organised by Ferrari.
With the exhilarating Ferrari Racing Days scheduled to take place at the Estoril circuit from 14 to 19 July, we can expect to see Marco Zanasi again for the Ferrari Challenge, Pirelli Europe Trophy. The driver will be back behind the wheel of his Ferrari 488 Challenge after an absence of over two months.
The Portuguese race track is a historic one and ranks among the favourites of drivers from both the past and present. What are the high points of this track, according to this driver from Maranello? Corner number three, definitely, and the last open turn.
The feedback from Zanasi’s test sessions so far has been positive. As Andrea Belicchi (Pinelli Motorsport coach) notes: “He showed good wheel handling during the race pace simulation.”
Your aim for the race? To make the category podium in the Pirelli AM trophy.
The weekend will begin on the afternoon of Friday 14 July, with the practice sessions, and then continue on the Saturday morning with the first qualifying round for Race 1, which is scheduled for the evening. On Sunday 16 July, however, there will be the second qualifying round, a few hours before the start of Race 2.
