SIM Maranello Local Partner at “Notte dei Caschi d’Oro” awards hosted by Autosprint magazine and featuring Volanti ACI 2024 awards

The award ceremony, which was held in the Museo Checco Costa museum within the Imola Circuit, (officially the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari) on Thursday 19 December, acknowledged the achievements of the leading figures in Italian and international motorsport. Sim Maranello contributed to the event as a Local Partner.

Taking on the role of Local Partner in such a prestigious event offered SIM Maranello a significant opportunity to reinforce its standing in the world of motorsport, showcasing the excellence of its products and services. This partnership with an international event has helped the brand strengthen its ties with the local area and with the major names  in motorsport, reflecting shared values such as innovation and passion for top-level performance.

The ceremony and guests 

As in past years, the guests were invited to receive acclaim in the form of the Caschi D’oro accolades – the long-standing equivalent of the Oscars for the motorsport world, bestowed  by Autosprint magazine since 1966 –  together with the much sought-after Volanti ACI awards, conferred by the ACI, Italian Automobile Club.

The 2024 Caschi d’Oro and Volanti ACI event celebrated the accomplishments of racing drivers during the season, alongside emerging motorsport talents and legendary drivers  who have shaped the history of racing. Acclaim also went to the engineers, technicians, and team principals, as key figures in the drivers’ achievements on the track. Prominent guests at the event included Formula 1 chairman and managing director Stefano Domenicali, who comes from Imola. The evening also featured involvement by local institutions, including the chair of the Emilia Romagna regional council Michele De Pascale and the mayor of Imola Marco Panieri.
