Zanasi dominates at Misano and soars to the top of the championship
The Trofeo Pirelli Am class gifted fans an exciting double victory by Marco Zanasi (Motor Service – Pinetti Motorsport) in Race 1 and Race 2. Zanasi demonstrated flawless performance right from the green light, starting in pole position and setting the fastest lap in the class. He asserted his authority throughout the event, crossing the finish line first twice. This weekend – one to remember – saw him take the lead in the championship, with a two-point advantage over Michael Verhagen (Ferrari Warszawa) and a seven-point lead over Hendrik Viol. Although the season is far from over, the pace set at Misano has confirmed Zanasi as one of the main contenders for the 2025 championship.
